That's a reasonable suspicion. It must be reasonable because I suspected the same thing. ;-) So I did a simple search and turned up what I suspect was the original message. It looked like a legitimate cause for concern, so I won't detail the search for posterity, but it really wasn't hard to find. I sent a more detailed message directly to Elaine suggesting that her company learn more about the security limitations of e-mail and implement measures (such as encryption) to protect sensitive information transmitted through the wilds of the public internet.
