I added a comment to your SF ticket:
How many servers and ports did you specify? Are you sure you completely
cleared what was there previously (press Ctl-A to make sure you selected
all text before typing in your server name(s) and pop port(s))?
Have you looked at your configuration file in a text editor (Notepad or
similar which allows you to save a file as plain text)?
Check that stuff out and let us know what everything looks like.
