I've been fighting with this issue and Outlook 2010 for a while now. The solution was quite easy for me.
1. Uninstall Spambayes from Programs and Features. 2. Uninstall Office 2010 x64. 3. Go to Microsoft's "How to uninstall or remove Microsoft Office 2010 suites" (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301) and use "Remove Microsoft Office 2010 suites manually" to remove any remnants. 4. Install the 32bit version of Office 2010 5. Install Spambayes 1.1a6. 6. Open Outlook and look at the add-ins tab. Spambayes should be there. 7. If you don't want to navigate to the add-ins tab every time you can add it to the Quick Access Toolbar. a. Click the little down arrow after the quick access toolbar in the upper left of the Outlook main window. b. Click "More Commands" c. Select "All Commands" in the "Choose commands from" combo box. d. Scross until you find "Custom Toolbars" and select it. e. Click "Add >>" f. Click "ok" Now you should have an icon in the quick access toolbar that looks like three little white rectangles stacked on top of each other. Click it and you'll see your Spambayes options. It's about the best we get with Office 2010 until the developers get time to do some programming again. -Craig Manske Please consider the environment before printing this e-mail. After start of Outlook 7 i get the message: "There was an Error initialising the SpamByes addin. Please restart Outlook and try again " I tried many times but still the some message shows.
