Also, keep in mind that the service is free, so any resources they spend at 
all on providing any kind of support (even the useless, automated variety 
you've already seen) is a drag on revenue.

I am having similar issues with a group that was borged in the e-groups 
acquisition. The admin ID I selected as an e-groups mod has characters that 
are not legal in the yahoo! schema, so I can no longer log in as mod to 
maintain the list. Pleas for assistance have been met only with ignorebot 
responses.
