Relatively few I'd imagine, since such an event would be likely to elicit
the interest of a postal inspector. Not so on the net - after forwarding
some graphic porn that was delivered to my child's e-mail account to the
state attorney general's computer crime task force, I waited several weeks
for a lame reply that indicated that wasn't really what they were concerned
about. 

Attempting to convince Mr. Dennis of the error of his ways reminds me of the
advice about never trying to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and
annoys the pig. Besides, he's already done his job - attract readers to the
ZDNet website in an effort to boost readership and maintain ad rates. From
what I can tell, the strategy seems to be to attract commentary from people
who will make outrageous statements, prompting outraged individuals to post
replies and read ads.
