Watch the sky for swine -- spamdyke version 4.0.0 is nearly ready for
beta testing. All of the test scripts are complete (final count: 545
new scripts) and I'm now into final debugging. Once that's done and
I've made some initial updates to the documentation (so others can get
it installed), it'll be ready for testing.
So, I'm ready to ask for beta testers. Before you volunteer, please be
sure you meet _all_ of the following requirements:
1. You know what you're doing.
2. You're willing to report bugs and successes (silent beta testers
are worthless).
3. You're able to install frequent updates/patches to troubleshoot
problems.
4. You're willing to risk losing some email.
5. You're willing to risk upsetting some users.
6. You have your employer's and users' permission.
If you're still interested (or if you just want to observe the
discussions), please subscribe to the new spamdyke-dev mailing list at
the spamdyke website:
http://www.spamdyke.org/
I should be ready to post the new code to the spamdyke-dev list by the
end of the week.
