i use (sometimes) the really nice AdiumX setting to "update" contact pictures in my addressbook.
on my Office PC where SS + Adium + .mac is active. however .. there seems some kind of change of Serial Numbers or Id's for the pictures happen. as every time adiumx is running + ss syncing .. there hundreds of Contacts beeing updated with every sync. if SS does not running .. there is no update happens if no pictures are changed.
