Hi, When you sync with Spanning Sync the first time, data on the Mac (in this case, in Address Book) is *merged* with data on Google (in this case, Gmail contacts). More specifically, on the first sync data will be pulled from Google and any contacts who exist both in Gmail and in AB will get updated in AB with new or different properties that Google sent. Then, AB data will be sent to Google and basically the same thing will happen in reverse.
If you don't want a merge to happen and you're looking for more of a "copy" on the first sync, then just empty out whichever side you want to start fresh with before syncing. -- Larry Hendricks [email protected] http://spanningsync.com On Jan 6, 9:43 pm, mistical <[email protected]> wrote: > Before possibly purchasing Spanning Sync, I have a question on contact > syncing. > > Before buying my G1 Phone, I managed all my contact lists through > Address Book.
