Doug- I think we have a lot of people using the exact configuration you describe, so it should work. When you say it clears the Google cal, what do you mean? Is the individual event in question erased? The whole calendar? From your description it sounds like Spanning Sync is behaving correctly and syncing changes from Google to your Mac. Is that right?
