Spanning Sync syncs the privacy settings of each event individually,
so if in Apple's Sync Service database they're marked as "public",
that's how they'll be set in Google Calendar. If they have no privacy
setting on your Mac they'll be set to "default" privacy.

Note that iCal doesn't provide a way to set an event's privacy
setting, so all events originally created in iCal will sync as
"default", and will therefore inherit the privacy settings of their
parent calendar. Events synchronized from other applications and
devices might have different privacy settings, which Spanning Sync
respects.
