Ray- There's not much to it: Spanning Sync syncs your Mac with Google, Google Sync syncs your iPhone with Google. Together they keep everything synced up, even over-the-air. If you need to sync more than 5 calendars, don't use Google Sync. Instead, use iTunes to sync your Mac with your iPhone. That's about it! But yes, there is still a detailed blog post in the works.
