Hello,
I have tested over the last 30 days a smiliar program called
"BusySync". It worked great for me syncing calender events with a
colleague (we sync through shared Google calendars).

I am tempted to switch to Spanning Sync as it allows for contact
syncing, not just calendars.

Here is the situation:
We are working in a team environment of 3 people (could expand to
5-6), each of us in their own office, on their own mac. BusySync has
enabled us to share (through Google calendar) a few work calendars,
which all of us can update and get updates from the other team
members.

Would that be possible with your Spanning Sync? Can we do the same
thing with contacts? We would want to share only one or two Mac
Address Book groups, not our entire list of personal contacts.

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
