As far as I know, SS isn't deleting Address book entries. But the other day I started seeing that it wanted to delete 624 contacts in google. I looked - it was everyone of my contacts. Why? So, I cancelled the delete. Then when I looked at Address Book a few hours later, all the groups were gone. This has happened a number of times. Fortunately my backup of address book is never more than a day old, because I got tired of recreating those groups.
