Jet- Spanning Sync consists of both a client (which runs on your Mac) and a server (which runs in our datacenter). If for some reason we were to discontinue operation of the servers, the client would no longer be able to sync. But since most Spanning Sync customers are yearly subscribers, we have a strong incentive to make sure the service remains available. Please let me know if you have any questions or run into any problems.
