I get this Rejected Contacts notice because I haven't yet entered email addresses for all of these folks. Does this mean no email address means they have the same email address to Google?
Also, I have spent FOREVER cleaning up my data and still cannot find the right workflow to get this thing down. I'm sure Spanning Sync is the solution but I need to know what sync to turn on, which to turn off, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have: Macbook Pro at home Mac Pro at work Entourage at work iCal at home iphone My different software solutions I've tried: Spanning Sync Google sync for iphone (using exchange account workaround) MobileMe sync So I want to be able get my work calendar on my phone (including appointments and such) and thought I had discovered the perfect solution with Spanning Sync. I cleaned up my address book (deleted all dupes etc.), synced it with my MobileMe account (for a backup and to coordinate my two computers), then updated the local address book on each computer to keep it clean. Then I cleaned up my Google contacts (took a LONG time merging and searching but I got it all cleaned up). Then I used Spanning sync and I have dupes in both Google and my address books. Fortunately I had that backup of the clean address book on MobileMe so I have replaced the info in my address book with the info from mobile me but now my google contacts are all duplicated and annoying. I'm also getting duplicates on my iphone. I tried the Google exchange account workaround and that worked for a while but then deleted that so that I could get my work exchange account to receive work emails for the day. Now everything is all jumbled up and my only clean data is that in my Mac address book. What should I sync to what and when? iphone exchange push? entourage exchange push? ical sync through mobile me? i cal sync through gmail? all i want is for the information in all of these places to be the same. . .and when I change one that it pushes to the next.
