When I update my contacts in Gmail, many fail to appear in my OS X Address Book (and consequently on my iPhone) via Spanning Sync.
The flow is: iPhone <--> Gmail <--> Address Book I created test contacts in each. Here are the results: iPhone --> Address book (yes) Address Book --> iPhone (yes) Gmail --> iPhone (yes) iPhone --> Gmail (NO) Gmail --> Address Book (NO) Address Book --> Gmail (NO) I am using Google Sync for the iPhone <--> Gmail leg, and Spanning Sync for the Gmail <--> Address Book leg. That said, this seems very strange: contacts get from the phone to the address book, but not to Gmail. However, these contacts still have to pass *through* Gmail. Strangely, I have the same set-up for my calendars (iPhone <--> Google Calendar <--> iCal), and these sync fine between all three programs. Thoughts? Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Spanning Sync" group.
