it was just that after the full reset of my Google contacts, I had
lost all my group associations which I had entered in Google contacts
AND in my OS X address book in parallel manually, which was quite some
work. I think, you should add this information as a comment in your
message box where you recommend the reset. I probably wouldn't have
done the reset then.

Don't get me wrong, Spanning Sync is a great piece of software and it
helps me a lot. It's just that if group sync was possible too, you
would get very close to the perfect sync =;-). Why don't you start a
vote on your site on this (and/or other features)?
