My calendar just kept syncing the same appointments over and over and
over.  Seems like the sync never stops and my CPU fan just runs and
runs.  I've reset Spanning Sync and I've tried to reset the Google
data, but just keeps going.

I'm tempted to do the same thing, go back to 2.1.3 as that seemed to
work without these issues.
