I too haven't had good success with the syncing, especially my calendar, seems to just go and go and go and go and go, then fails, then starts over and does the exact same thing. I thinking I need to go back to 2.1.3 or whatever version it was before, that seemed to work. The "10x faster sync" for me has been the exact opposite.
