I seem to be having some sort of conflict between Spanning Sync and Spotlight since installing Snow Leopard. Each time Spanning Sync kicks off a sync process, I end up with an mds and mdsworker process that runs out of control. Most often, the mds process shoots up to 100% cpu utilization on one of my processor cores while mdsworker will hover somewhere around 50% on the other.
I know that both mds and mdsworker are tied into Spotlight indexing and I've issued the terminal commands to rebuild my spotlight index, but that hasn't resolved the issue. I'd be happy to provide any information in the form of logs, etc. if that will help to troubleshoot the problem. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Spanning Sync" group.
