Hi Josh, Usually when we see something like this it's because there are copies of the same event spread over multiple calendars. If you download and run our Calendar Cleaner tool (http://spanningtools.com/download ) it will identify any duplicates (the trial is free for 14 days).
As for forgetting your name, password, and preferences, that definitely shouldn't happen. If it happens again, please send a troubleshooting report (from the Advanced tab of the pref pane) to [email protected] and we can investigate.
