Todd- We've seen sporadic micro-outages this weekend, but nothing that's affected anyone for as long as yours. HTTP 500 errors come straight from Google, and mean that something on their side went wrong. They often crop up for individual users for a few minutes or maybe an hour, but almost never for a day or more.
Please create a problem report and send it to me ([email protected]) so I can see what API calls are failing for your account and report those to the Calendar API team.
