Hi Andrew,

It sounds to me that you have a default alarm set in Google.  Google
then adds this default alarm to every event added to Google Calendar,
regardless of how the event was created.  You'll need to login to your
Google Calendar account using your web browser and do the following
for each calendar:

* Click the 'Settings' link in the top right corner
* Clcik the 'Calendars' link next to the 'General' tab
* Click the 'Notifications' link next to each calendar and change the
"By default, remind me via" option to whatever you'd like

That will take care of Google adding alarms to events that don't
already have an alarm set.

Please let us know if that doesn't address the problem or you have
