Hi Timothy, Does iCal have a default alarm set for 10 mins before the event? If so, and you have alarm syncing enabled in Spanning Sync, that's probably where the alarms are coming from. If you don't want Spanning Sync to sync alarms, simply disable it in the Spanning Sync preferences. This way, even if iCal has a default alarm set, Spanning Sync won't sync them to Google.
