I would just like to greatly recommend this application for anyone browsing these forums looking for user experiences. It is an amazing application, very powerful if set up correctly, and it will set you back only $ 25,00 for the year ($ 20,00 if you have a coupon ;-)). This beats Apple's price for Mobile Me by an incredible $ 59,00 per year (even more if you live in Europe and don't have to go through Apple's Euro conversion scam), providing pretty much the same functionality when it comes to syncing Contacts and Calendars.
Just use this to sync your iCal (or multiple iCals on multiple Macs) to a free Google Calendar, set up all the different calendars the way it works best for you, then sync your iPhone to the Google Calendar using Google's Exchange Server. Just make sure you back your iPhone up and transfer all data to (at least one) iCal using iTunes before you begin the procedure - then you can safely toss out all calendar information stored in your iPhone and have it replaced by Google's Exchange Calendar. Same goes for Contacts. Spanning Sync: Thank you for providing this excellent service at a very reasonable price. Hopefully, you will continue to do so for a long long time.
