Hi Manos,

The Spanning Sync Notifier is automatically added to your startup
items when you install Spanning Sync.  Keep in mind that the Spanning
Sync preference pane does not need to be open in order for the sync to
take place, therefore you won't see Spanning Sync open after startup,
but the sync is going to take place during it's scheduled sync
intervals.
