Hi,

I just downloaded the trial edition of Spanning Sync and have some
questions. I have a setup that basically is like: iCal, iPhone and
iPad are setup to use MobileMe for Calendar and Contacts. I also have
a Google Apps account for work related stuff. I know that I can point
iCal to the Google Apps account and sync with it but that is not
really what i want because then when I create an new appointment on
Google Apps it will not show up on MobileMe if I'm correct.

I thought that by using Spanning Sync I could create/modify an
appointement/contact on Google Apps which Spanning sync would then
create in iCal and from there it would Sync to MobileMe/iPad/iPhone.

When I try to set this up Spanning Sync gives me an error that the
iCal calendar is "Read-Only" and it will only do one way syncing? If
this is really true Spanning Sync is basically useless for me...

I must be missing something because otherwise I wonder how people use
and would pay for something like Spanning Sync?

Thanks,

Jurgen
