Hi experts, My wife and I both have MacBook Pros running OS X 10.6.6. I've downloaded Spanning Sync v3.1.2 (439) and am trying it out on the 15-day trial to sync our calendars. We will each have read-only access to the other person's calendars.
My wife has multiple calendars in iCal on her MBP, and I have multiple calendars on mine. Using Spanning Sync, I just synced all my calendars to her iCal and what I've noticed is that when I have multiple lines in the location field in iCal, like: Meeting Room Building 32 Humungous Bank 1234 Main St Bankville AB T2C 8U7 732 335 2353 the linebreaks are messed up in my wife's iCal. I looked at what's in Google Calendar and it looks like the multiline location info is just turned into one line in Google Calendar. Can the multiline format in the location field be preserved? For everyday use, we'll be using iCal only, so it doesn't matter what things look like from within Google Calendar. The only thing I'll be using Google Calendar for is as a way to sync the two iCals. I'll go into Google Calendar for administrative/setup/etc. reasons only. Thanks, Kevin -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Spanning Sync" group.
