Ok Byron. But just to confirm two thing: 1) are you saying that even though groups are ignored, all the individual contacts can synch fine?
2) As there must be a flag or bit or whatever in each record that works like a tag to mark any group connection, so can you also confirm that that tag/bit/flag is not stripped out and will continue to work in Apple's Address Book even after the two programs synch? If these two things are true, then I should be able to just ignore the Gmail contact page, and continue to use Apple's software, where my groups do work. Please let me know if this is true or not.
