Hi,

You can reset Spanning Sync for contacts only by holding down the
'option' key while clicking on "Start Over" from the 'Advanced' tab in
Spanning Sync.  You will be given the option of resetting only
contacts.  Once you've done that, and perform a sync, all the Google
contact data should sync back to Address Book on your Mac.
