Byron,
We've had email discussions in the past and I've appreciated your
assistance. I just moved from Entourage 2008 to Outlook 2011 on the
Mac and immediately noticed that same issue with how the new Outlook
is now syncing categorized calendar events with iCal to create
calendars for each category. I, like the "the philosopher" above,
absolutely don't want to create 20+ additional calendars in Google,
especially when many of my events have multiple categories and would
probably result in multiple showing on Google (some how this multiple
showing does not happen in iCal after syncing with Outlook 2011, which
is a good thing). So, if you all could find a way to resolve this into
one calendar on Google sync it would be WONDERFUL! Otherwise, it
looks like my time with Spanning Sync may come to a close. Of course,
the bigger issue is that I still won't have my calendars syncing to
Google and thus to my Android phone...which is a major business
challenge.
