Hi,
I found out that the ROM image from internet was faulty
so I installed Solaris 10 into VirtualBox on OS X Mountain Lion
and extracted new ROM from xvr10-DVI_console-040512.tar.Z
DOS command "flashrom -i" showed that the card had 128k and
the flashing succeeded. Sun Ultra 45's OBP recognised the card
and so did OpenBSD (radeonfb).
However, both SUN and HP monitors show odd pattern
(like I was looking thru cotton fabric, like a mummy)
which I could not get rid off. The pattern is on
both on analog (HD15) and digital channel (DVI).
I can change DVI console resolution from OBP so I tried:
r1280x1024x60
r1280x1024x75 => no picture at all
r1024x768x60
but the pattern remained.
Starting X in OpenBSD works; I can see the fvwm windows
but the sick-sack pattern makes the text unreadable.
To be continued...

Hi,
has anybody managed to reflash
ATI Radeon 7000 64MB PCI (not MAC version!)
into XVR-100?
I tried flashrom with firmware 1.61 as
explained in forums.nekochan.net but
obdiag in OBP does not see the card.
