Hello,
I have a Sprac Classic with RedHat 6.0 installed on it. Upon reboot,
I get the following error message:
Loading default keymap/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: /dev/tty0: No such
device [FAILED]
It then procedes to load rest of services and then gives me the error
messages:
Starting

[ OK ]
INIT: Id "2" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "4" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

INIT: Id "5" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: Id "6" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel
I could telnet to this machine and it appears to be fine. I just cannot
get a local login.
Could this be a problem with the keyboard mapping through the serial
port? My Sparc input device is set to ttya could this be the problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Sam
