Folks:
I've tried compiling the latest (from cvs) kernel on a sparc 5, and it
reboots shortly after starting up. Here's what I get if I disconnect
the keyboard and use a serial console:
-------------------------------------
SPARCstation 5, No Keyboard
ROM Rev. 2.15 Pilot, 40 MB memory installed, Serial #3661484.
Ethernet address 8:0:20:23:70:ad, Host ID: 8037deac.
Boot device: /iommu/sbus/espdma@5,8400000/esp@5,8800000/sd@1,0 File and args:
SILO boot: new
Uncompressing image...
PROMLIB: obio_ranges 1
bootmem_init: Scan sp_banks, init_bootmem(spfn[21f2],bpfn[21f2],epfn[5fb2])
-------------------------------------
Has anyone gotten recent 2.4.0 kernels to work on a Sparc 5? If so, can
you send me your .config file? I enclose a list of all non-default settings
in my .config:
