Hello and first of all sorry for the double-posting of this thread

the warning reads:
"TPP requires ActivePerl version 5.8.8 or 5.10.x (available for free
ActiveState, but we are not allowed to distribute it directly). Please
install ActivePerl from
http://downloads.activestate.com/ActivePerl/Windows/5.10/ActivePerl-5.10.0.1004.MSWin32-x86-287188.msi
or
http://downloads.activestate.com/ActivePerl/Windows/5.8/ActivePerl-5.8.8.824.MSWin32-x86-287188.msi
(or newer), and try the TPP installer again."

the warning pops up at a late stage of the installing process, after
tpp_perlVersionCheck.bat has been excecuted. The last file extracted
at this point is msconvert.exe which finishes at 100% into C:\Inetpub
\tpp-bin

the folder c:\perl\bin exists and has 103 objects in it.

thank you for your help,

johannes
