Hello, i have installed TPP v4.2 JETSTREAM rev 1, Build 200904071723 (MinGW) on our system and everything works quite well except for some problems with data base searches. So if anyone has an idea to solve them please let me know.
* submitting more than one search to x!tandem is not possible. whenever one search is finished (result file created) this is not recognized by tpp. instead it says that there is still a command running. there is one error message saying "method.xml" not found, so maybe this has something to do with it? * connecting to our mascot server via tpp does not work. i typed in http://myserver/mascot/ replacing "myserver" with the mascot server´s ip address (same that works with our BioTools installation on the same PC) but i get the error message "does not appear to point to a Mascot server.
