Hello, I am trying to understand the different meaning (if any) between peptide probabilities assigned by peptideprophet and the concept of peptide local false discovery rate. I am not sure if I understand them correctly. In my understanding, peptide probability means that the probability of this match being true and peptide local FDR means that the chance of this match being false.
Therefore, is it correct to say that 1 - peptide probability = peptide local FDR? Thanks in advance for your kind help. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "spctools-discuss" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
