I'm new to TPP and I am looking into installing on a shared Linux system with multiple users from various labs.
Is there a way of uploading files via HTTP rather than directly copying them into pre-made directories on the server? Is there any built-in mechanism for controlling access permissions on files within TPP, or must it be done externally using Apache controls or my own hacks? Does anyone have suggestions of how to control access? Are any of the TPP executables multithreaded? If so, can the number of threads be controlled? Can TPP executables be offloaded onto a back-end cluster? Has anyone tried? Sorry for the longwinded questions.
