Hello again all, I was hoping someone might be able to clarify exactly how the data in the proteinprophet column titled "total indep spectra" which I take to mean total independent spectra is arrived at. I'm preferably looking for a strict definition and any formulas involved. My assumption is that it is synonymous with unique spectra but I realize that the wording does leave a little room for interpretation. Thanks so much for your help everyone!
