Dear colleagues,

The Proteome Informatics Research Group (iPRG) of the Association of
Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) is now recruiting new members for
the year 2015-16.

In case you are not familiar with iPRG, our mission is (i) To educate ABRF
members and the scientific community on best application and practice of
bioinformatics toward accurate and comprehensive analysis of proteomics
data, and (ii) To support and participate in the development and
advancement of new algorithms, software tools and strategies for proteome
informatics.

The iPRG consists of about 8-10 members, usually active researchers in
proteomics from all backgrounds and seniority. The primary responsibility
of iPRG members is to design and conduct an annual or bi-annual
community-wide study on data analysis methods in proteomics. For a list of
current and past members, as well as information about past studies, please
visit:

This year, we would like to recruit up to 5 members, to replace retiring
members and to bring in fresh ideas. We are writing to ask for your
assistance in identifying suitable candidates. If you, or any promising
researchers under your supervision, are interested in participating, please
fill out the following online form by August 15th, 2015:

Filling out this form is not a firm commitment to join the group, and we
will carefully review the information you provide to select the best
candidates, ideally to form a well-rounded and balanced team. We will
contact selected candidates personally for a formal invitation and clarify
any questions they might have.

Thank you for your valuable time and we hope to hear from you.

Sincerely,

The ABRF Proteome Informatics Research Group (iPRG)
