Speaking of temppath and usetmp options... If I understand spdtranslate properly, those options are redundant for me. In order to use temporary files usetmp has to be set, and then the path is specified with temppath. Using only temppath would be easier. I mean, if the temporal path is set it is assumed that you want to use temporary files, so usetemp can be avoided.
