Dear Eloi,
Are you installing libraries from a repository? liblas does not require xerces
but GDAL could be built with xerces if you take the version of the Ubuntu
repository then I think that is built with xerces 2.8 so you would need to
build gdal with xerces 3.1.1 to be compatible with SPDLib. It is best to
compile everything from source to ensure compatibility.
