Dear Sebastien, You need to specify the point to be used to index the pulse (i.e., -x FIRST_RETURN or -x LAST_RETURN) if there is only one point for each pulse these will produce the same results. Therefore your command should be:
> spdtranslate --if LAS --of SPD -x FIRST_RETURN -i pts2las.las -o pts2las.spd Bare in mind that you might also want to index your data (using the -b option, -b 1 will put it onto a 1 m index). There is some documentation available here, see downloads. https://bitbucket.org/petebunting/spdlib-documentation/overview Best wishes, Pete On 7 Feb 2014, at 16:36, Sebastien Bauwens <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello, > > I have installed spdlib in Linux 13.10. > I try to convert a terrestrial lidar file .las to spd: > spdtranslate --if LAS --of SPD -i pts2las.las -o pts2las.spd > > I have this error: > Started (Read Data) ..0.Error: Indexing type unsupported > spdtranslate - end > > LiDAR point cloud is coming from Scene (FARO).
