Hi Roberto,

Dan and I had a look at this issue on the weekend when I was passing through 
LA. I think it might be related to OpenGL / QT setup / versions. 

I think I am going to have to build a custom version of QT and add print lines 
to debug further but could you let me know what version of QT and OpenGL you 
are using?

Dan started an issue on bitbucket, maybe you could put the info there?
