Hello Daniel.

No. Do I need it?

I'm trying to build from source.

hg clone https://bitbucket.org/petebunting/spdlib spdlib

And I get the same error:

*[ 35%] Building CXX object
src/CMakeFiles/spd.dir/spd/SPDLASFileExporter.cpp.o*
...
spdlib/src/spd/SPDLASFileExporter.cpp:151:43: error: no matching function
for call to ‘liblas::Point::Point()’
                             liblas::Point point;
                                           ^
