Hi Narsimha,
I’m surprised you can import LAS 1.3 files with the version of SPDLib last
built for Windows as this uses libLAS (rather than LASlib) and doesn’t support
LAS 1.3 files.
The recommended way of running SPDLib under Windows is to use a virtual machine
with Linux installed - as described in the guide
(https://spectraldifferences.wordpress.com/2014/09/24/installing-rsgislib-on-windows-through-a-virtual-machine/
<https://spectraldifferences.wordpress.com/2014/09/24/installing-rsgislib-on-windows-through-a-virtual-machine/>).
I do have an experimental build of the latest version of SPDLib for Linux under
conda you could try. On step 7 of the guide you need to install with:
conda install -c osgeo -c conda-forge -c rios spdlib
This is experimental so might have conflicts with different dependencies.
One issue I’ve already found with LAS 1.4 files is it crashes reading the
projection from the file. If you specify manually (using a WKT file) then this
won’t happen.
Thanks,
Dan
