Sounds like you are using an old version of SPDLib. spd2spd is now called
spdtranslate.

Hello,
I installed the SPDPointsViewer 2.0.2 binary for my Mac. I also installed the
prerequisites using homebrew and am trying to run the tutorials.
I ran Tutorial #1 from the SPD tutorials and the result loaded into the viewer
fine. But when I try running Tutorial # 2, I noticed you have changed the
function names and syntax from when the tutorial was written. So I tried the
following but get the error below:
>>spd2spd -i SPD -o SPD -b 10 N144.pd N144_10m.spd
Converting input data to a gridded output format
Started (Read Data) ..0.Error: Indexing type unsupported
When I try running Tutorial # 7, I also get an error:
>>spddecomp p138_fw_noidx.spd p138_fw_decomp_noidx.spd
Error: H5Dopen2 failed
Where should I begin troubleshooting? I can't seem to open any .spd extension
files. Should I check the versions of the prerequisite utilities? Which
versions should I be using? Ultimately I need to get the waveform data to load
for my project.
