I spoke with Cody Peterson, a Graphic Communications instructor at the Regina campus of Sask Polytech, who was recognized with the Faculty Award for Excellence: Teaching. His students frequently win gold, silver, and bronze medals at provincial and national competitions. SPDX may be able to qualify as part of a Skills Canada initiative, where students partner with companies to deliver specific services as part of their program. Sask Polytech graduate from Regina, earned a Medallion of Excellence in the Graphic Design Technology category at the competition in Abu Dhabi.
