As mentioned, we are no longer accepting projects for this calendar year, but will be looking to load up on projects in November/December, for projects commencing in January of 2027. We would look to send an email similar to what I have included below, outlining what types of projects our students may be able to collaborate on. Partner with Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Graphic Communications students on a real-world design project running January–March 2026. Your organization gets fresh ideas and professional-quality design; our students gain valuable experience working with real clients. *What You Can Expect* - *Student teams* (2–4 students) are enrolled in Project Management 2 and guided by instructors. - *Professional mindset:* students will communicate, plan, and present work as they would in industry. - *Clear timelines:* projects start in early January and wrap up by the end of March 2026. - *Instructor support:* faculty check in with teams to support quality, scope, and deadlines. - *Respectful collaboration:* we value inclusive, community-minded projects and working relationships. *Types of Projects* We invite a wide range of print and digital communication projects, such as: - Logo development - Branding and visual identity - Wall decals and wraps - Packaging - Editorial design (brochures, magazines, annual reports) - Signage - Screen printing projects - Social media graphics - Other ideas you may have *Costs and Materials* Student design time is provided at no charge as part of the course. Many projects—such as logos, branding, and digital graphics—will have *no cost* to you beyond your time and feedback. If your project requires physical materials or larger production runs (for example, wall wraps, screen-printed shirts, or extended print quantities), we may ask you to cover some or all *material and production costs*. In those cases: - You may be asked to supply items (e.g., garments for screen printing). - Any potential costs will be discussed with you in advance. - No production expenses will proceed without your approval. *What We Ask From You* - A clear description of your organization and project goals. - A primary contact person who can respond to emails and give timely feedback. - Openness to working with students who are learning and experimenting, with instructor guidance. *How to Get Involved* If you’re interested in being considered for a January–March 2026 project, please complete our online form by end of day, Friday, December 12, 2025: *Complete the Graphic Communications Project Request Form* *(FORM NOW CLOSED FOR 2026 OFFERING)* We review responses as they are submitted.
