There is also a git repository for the SPDX workgroup at: git.spdx.org where we host all the SPDX workgroup tools and library contributions.
I personally maintain my SPDX code contributions in both Github and git.spdx.org. Even though it is a bit more work to mirror both repositories, I have found a lot of value in the Github issue tracking features. Once we have the GSoC projects underway, I can setup git.spdx.org commit access for the GSoC contributors.
